Screen protectors for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 have already gone on sale ahead of the console’s official announcement.
The listings were spotted by Famiboards members. Alibaba shows the screen protectors, which Alibaba says are “made from the genuine console” and are “precise measurements.”
For those curious about the legitimacy, it’s pretty standard practice for console makers to send manufacturing specifications to companies ahead of time to begin manufacturing accessories.
One image shows the Nintendo Switch 2 screen protector compared to its predecessor, which reveals that the Switch 2 will have a bigger screen than the original. Addditionally, we can also see this time around that the Nintendo Switch 2 will not have a space for a light sensor.
In addition to the screen protectors, Alibaba has also listed a carry case for the Nintendo Switch 2, which says it will be 45mm by 135mm by 290mm.
Accessories beginning to appear online suggests that the Nintendo Switch 2 announcement is now very likely on the horizon, with the release date heavily rumored to be in the first half of 2025.
