Nintendo Announces New 2-Way Joy-Con Stand

Nintendo has recently unveiled a new Switch accessory called the 2-Way Joy-Con Charging Stand, which will hit the shelves on October 17. This new peripheral enables players to recharge their Joy-Cons without attaching them to their Switch consoles.

The innovative Joy-Con Charging Stand is designed to cater to various user preferences. Its versatile design lets you choose between propping it up or laying it flat, providing flexibility to suit your space and needs. This accessory is a game-changer for users with multiple Joy-Cons, offering the convenience of charging a pair while having another set ready for local multiplayer games. With this stand, you can keep the fun going without interruption.

Additionally, players can use this stand to charge the Switch Nintendo Entertainment System controllers; however, a price has yet to be revealed. Once it arrives, interested players can grab the Joy-Con accessory through My Nintendo Store and other participating retailers.

Players have expressed concerns about the belated introduction of this accessory, especially considering that the Nintendo Switch Console has been on the market for seven years. Furthermore, numerous third-party manufacturers have released similar accessories with enhanced Joy-Con support over the years. Given its delayed release, players wonder whether this accessory will be compatible with the Joy-Cons of the anticipated Switch 2.

In other news, Nintendo has provided an August release window for their mysterious ‘Emio’ game. Also, GTA+ might be arriving for Nintendo Switch consoles in the near future. What are your views on the new 2-Way Joy-Con Stand? Let us know in the comments.
