In a new post on X today, reliable leaker billbil-kun claimed that EA’s anticipated new game NHL 25 will release on October 4, 2024.
They also claimed that the available platforms will at least include the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
One fan asked about a potential PC version or PlayStation 4 release. Billbil-kun replied that there’s no current sign of a PC release, and that “I can’t be sure at 100% but I don’t see any PS4 version.”
UPDATE – in a new post via X, EA confirmed that an official NHL 25 reveal is coming today at 11 am ET.
EA’s previous game, NHL 24, originally launched in 2023 for both current and last-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
It did not release on PC, so that version still seems to be a long shot for NHL 25, which may disappoint longtime fans. However, with an October 2024 release date, NHL 25 could potentially share the same PlayStation and Xbox platforms as its predecessor.
Earlier this week, EA also leaked its own new details about NHL 25, including players and new mechanics. EA apparently left its reveal trailer unlisted, inadvertently letting some fans access the trailer before quickly taking it down.
Some of the leaks will include – spoilers ahead – cover athletes featuring the Hughes brothers, ICE-Q Intelligence mechanics, next-gen vision control, and more.
Billbil-kun also recently leaked the release date and other details about EA FC 25 in July 2024. They expect FC 25 to release in late September 2024.
