New Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Trailer Shows Soulslike Gameplay

505 Games has released a new trailer for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, its upcoming action RPG being developed by the China-based Leenzee Games. The trailer came as part of the Xbox Partner Preview event on Thursday.

In the new look, players are shown gameplay, the environment, and more about the game’s story. You can watch the new trailer for yourself, below.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a soulslike game set in the land of Shu during the late Ming Dynasty. The land is “plagued with warring factions and a mysterious illness spawning monstrous creatures”.

You play as Wuchang, a pirate warrior suffering from amnesia. It’s your goal to learn about your past while dealing with the Feathering disease that causes mutations.

“Thrown into an epidemic of plague and monsters, you will have to overcome cruel and twisted enemies with various fighting styles, hidden weapons, ancient firearms, and even the power of Feathering to forge a path through flesh and blood towards the truth buried beneath it all,” the game’s description reads.

There’s currently no set release date for the game, but it’s due to release sometime in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.
