Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots sees the legendary golf franchise continue in 2025. The announcement came during the March edition of Nintendo’s Direct showcases. It has all the glitz and glamour (and golf) of previous entries, so get your swing ready.
It doesn’t matter if you call it Everybody’s Golf or Hot Shots, it’s the same thing. This is golfing royalty, golfing heritage, and has rivalled Mario Golf for years as the standard-bearer for cartoon-visual golf. The series has always been more than a pretty face, though, featuring solid mechanics and heartwarming guest appearances.
Now, in 2025, we get to do it all over again with Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots.
Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots Releases in 2025

We first learned of Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots through the March 2025 Nintendo Direct. The lengthy presentation showed off new Pokémon Z-A details and gave us a further look at Metroid Prime 4. However, it also shocked many by announcing a new entry in the Everybody’s Golf series.
Despite being announced during a Nintendo show, it’s a multi-platform release. Given the series started and grew up on PlayStation, it might have been weird not to see it tee it up there!
The gameplay won’t shock long-time fans: Shots with ridiculous amounts of spin, golf balls flying around the pin, and a variety of novelty-based gameplay modifiers, including huge cups and bizarre obstacles to navigate.
“Available 2025” is all we’ve been given concerning a release date for now. As it’s been eight years since 2017’s Everybody’s Golf, I imagine it’s far along in development. Interestingly, it seems Bandai Namco is now developing the title, so we’ll see if we have to do battle in unconventional ways.
