The PlayStation Store has updated to reveal that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will launch on August 28, 2025.
Its announcement has seemingly been published early on the PlayStation Store ahead of the heavily rumoured State of Play next week, but the update reveals the games release date with a new gameplay trailer.
In a surprising announcement, the trailer also features an Ape Escape tease at the end, too, which according to back-end information will be a gamemode coming to the game.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launches August 28th and features the Snake vs Monkey mode from the original. Watch the release date trailer here:
The game information reads,

You can also choose to play with a classic control style that more closely recreates the feel of the original game.
