A Fresh Look at Mercenaries in the Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred Gamescom Trailer

It was only a matter of time before Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred entered the fray. Thanks to the most recent Vessel of Hatred Gamescom trailer, we have a new look at the upcoming mercenaries!

The upcoming mercenary system will highly benefit players who usually adventure alone, as it allows you to hire a companion with unique skills and abilities to synergize with your build or offset your character’s abilities for a more well-rounded approach to combat.

Four mercenaries, each with a unique style, are available, such as a Tank, Ranger, Mage, and Warrior. It’s unclear how much each one will cost if they cost anything to recruit and how you can upgrade them over time while roaming the world of Sanctuary together. We’ll see more about the mercenary system in the coming days as Gamescom continues!

If you’re as excited as we are about the new mercenaries in Diablo 4, don’t forget to mark your calendar for the Vessel of Hatred release date!
