Mecha Break Announces Open Beta and New Game Mode

Mecha Break, the upcoming online mech fighter from developer Amazing Seasun Games, has announced a brand new game mode and a new open beta for players to try it out.

The new game mode, Mashmak, is a PvPvE mode has pilots fighting over the Maskmak Isles. This extraction mode has you fight for control of the island with equipment deployment such as weapons and gliders.

Alongside the new mode, an extended Mecha Break open beta is scheduled to start on February 23 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. The beta will allow players to not only try out the new Mashmak mode but also Mech Break’s 3v3 and 6v6 modes.

It will support cross-play between PC and Xbox Series consoles, and includes “all gameplay features that will be available at launch”.

“Players will experience the opening tutorial and introduction, character and mech customization, an explorable space station, all three core game modes, a training room, and thirteen distinct mechs or ‘Strikers’,” the developers said. “Other new updates in this beta include revised maps for the 6v6 Operation VERGE and 3v3 Ace Arena game modes, a player reputation system, balance adjustments to various Strikers, combat finishing moves, and new customization options for pilots and mechs.”

Mecha Break is currently scheduled to launch this spring on PC and Xbox Series X|S with “more platforms to come in 2025”.
