Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6 Announced

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Course Booster Pass Wave 6 has been announced as launching this holiday season for the Nintendo Switch. It’s the final wave of the DLC pack that adds 48 new tracks to the game and a host of new characters.

Only one course was announced at the time, Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii. However, there will be seven more courses included in the pack which will be revealed as the launch gets closer.

As far as new characters go, four racers are returning from past games. Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachatte all make their Mario Kart 8 Deluxe debut in Wave 6.

Those who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass get access to Booster Course Pass as part of their membership. Should you not want to sign up for the service, you can buy the course pass separately for $24.99 through the Nintendo eShop.

As of posting, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains the Nintendo Switch’s best-selling game with over 55 million copies sold.
