Mafia: Definitive Edition Comes To Xbox Game Pass August 13th

2K Games has announced that Mafia: Definitive Edition will release on August 13 for Xbox and PC via Game Pass.

The announcement confirms prior reports of the game’s pending release.

“Re-made from the ground up, in the brutal world of organized crime, rise through the ranks in Mafia: Definitive Edition, coming to Xbox and PC with Xbox Game Pass August 13,” 2K said in a social media post.

First released back in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake of the original game from 2002. The game is set in the fictional city of Los Heaven, Illinois during the 1930s. The definitive edition had an expanded story as well as a Free Ride mode. This mode allows the players to explore the city at their own pace without the need to compete mandatory missions.

If you don’t want to wait to play the game on Game Pass, you can get Mafia: Definitive Edition today via Steam.
