Logitech Is Helping Streamers Capture Clips Using AI

Logitech has revealed a new AI-backed technology called ‘AI Stream Highlighter’. It’s an integration that works with Streamlabs, one of the most popular pieces of streaming software on the market. With AI Stream Highlighter, content creators will be able to build engaging clips at the press of a button.

This is perfect for streamers just starting out and wanting to diversify their content portfolio across multiple platforms.

Put It Everywhere

Every streamer should be diversifying their reach. It’s important to upload short-form content to TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, to post VODs on YouTube and Twitch, and to stream on whatever platform you desire. Leaning on social media is free advertising, and many of these apps will increase your reach and following – provided you’re willing to put in the effort.

The AI Stream Highlighter tool revealed by Logitech G during the Logi Play 2024 showcase takes away a considerable chunk of that effort.

In partnership with Streamlabs, Logitech G has created an AI-powered solution that captures and cleans up clips at the tap of a customisable key. It has a wide range of features, from automatically piecing together post-stream highlight reels to directly uploading shorts to YouTube.

AI Stream Highlighter will add music, export multiple clips as a single video, and look back at past streams to compile montages.

There are a few caveats, though.

Initially, AI Stream Highlighter will only work with Fortnite, with other games (popular ones) being supported further down the line. Also, automatic uploads to TikTok are yet to arrive.

Amazingly, AI Stream Highlighter is free for all those using Streamlabs Desktop. It’s set to be released in just a few weeks, and once it has evolved, it’s sure to become a staple of the content creator’s arsenal.
