One ambitious Call of Duty fan has reportedly used an exploit to run Black Ops 6 Zombies for a month straight to earn enough XP to reach Prestige level 1000, earning the game’s ultimate rewards. It has been claimed that the player, ‘Aldredd’, left his PC running for five weeks straight to rack up enough experience points to climb to the maximum rank.
Treyarch had some rewards waiting for the very few players to reach this remarkable level, but now that they’re uncovered, fans are both a) pissed off, and b) disappointed.
Not Like This
Many fans have been left enraged at the ‘early’ reveal of the level 1000 rewards in Black Ops 6. For weeks, the ‘Nuke Squad’ has been grinding non-stop to hit this level and was within spitting distance of being the first ‘legitimate’ team to hit the mark when the grand reveal was dropped online.
On Twitter, Aldredd, who goes by the name ‘Beamishh’, revealed that he didn’t intend for the content to leak and that the rewards aren’t at all impressive:
In my defense I wasn’t going to post them I even said I wasn’t but I had a small private stream going in discord and some fucking loser leaked it all and everyone stole my shit I mean stupid of me really now I think about it but yeah. There’s nothing impressive about my 1000
He’s now one of the dramatically few players who’ll unlock the ultimate reward, which consists of a full bundle, including stickers, a background, emblems, a weapon blueprint, and a unique Operator.
And that’s where things get interesting.
The Operator is none other than Eric Samuels, a character from Black Ops 2. This has prompted fans to believe that it’s a massive nod to the follow-up title to Black Ops 2 that’s suspected to be in development.
The weapon blueprint you get for hitting Prestige level 1000 is a PP919 called Enigma Tech, which again could be stripped clean from 2012’s Black Ops 2.
