It hasn’t been officially announced, but eagle-eyed users have noticed that the PlayStation store page for LEGO Horizon Adventures states the game will be released on November 14. This game was revealed just weeks ago at the Summer Games Fest event, but it garnered a lot of attention given the serious popularity of the wider Horizon franchise.
If the listing on the PlayStation Store isn’t an error, there isn’t all that long to wait before LEGO Horizon Adventures is released worldwide.
The End of the World, But Cute
Horizon is a prestigious franchise that was kickstarted on PlayStation 4 back in 2017 with ‘Zero Dawn’. This gorgeous, post-apocalyptic series has since been expanded with a follow-up title, a VR game, and now, a LEGO title. It has also transcended PlayStation and found its way to PC, and bizarrely, LEGO Horizon Adventures will also be released on Nintendo Switch.
Netflix was poised to develop a series based on the franchise, but in July, reports surfaced that the production had been canned.
However, according to PlayStation, it won’t be all that long until we’ve got another iteration of the series, this one in the adorable form of a LEGO game. It’s the Horizon that we know and love, and Aloy is still the protagonist, but it’s all a bit more tongue-in-cheek and humorous, such is the nature of a LEGO game.
It’s also the first Horizon game to boast cooperative gameplay elements – and it has couch co-op, which is a rarely seen sight these days.
Per the listing, LEGO Horizon Adventures will be released on November 14.
