Update: During the State of Play showcase, it was confirmed that Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 – 2 Remastered is coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on December 10.
Just before the official announcement at the State of Play event, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered was accidentally listed early on the PlayStation Store.
According to the now-removed listing, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered, is arriving to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Soul Reaver Franchise. The game is being developed by Aspyr, the team responsible for creating Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered. The title is scheduled to be released on December 10, 2024.
Players can experience “the epic conflict of Kain and Raziel in original form or with remastered graphics”. The collection will include two games, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 and Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 2.
About Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered
The title’s narrative will follow the journey of Raziel, who has embarked on a relentless quest for revenge against his former master, who betrayed and executed him. Players can take advantage of the Powers of the Wraith, using claws, bolts of telekinetic energy and the Wraith Blade to eliminate their vampire brethren.
Players will also have the ability to shift between Material and Spectral Realms. Traversing and exploring these realms will bring you new puzzles to solve, paths to explore and enemies to defeat.
