Following the relatively short gameplay teaser at Opening Night Live, developer Warhorse Studios decided to grace us with additional gameplay from its upcoming sequel. It’s an absolute gift! They gave the eager community 25 minutes of brand-new gameplay in a gorgeous showcase. Here’s a look at the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 gameplay from Gamescom!
In this exploratory look, we get a glimpse of the environment. A bit of horseback riding kicks things off, along with the start of a new quest in the game in which Henry seeks out a lost pal but winds up encountering ruffians.
I will say that, despite my relatively limited time in the first game, the combat appears identical. It still has an awkward and clunky look but also a certain charm.
Furthermore, the team reveals that Henry can make various choices throughout gameplay that affect his behavior, such as causing a bit of mayhem or helping townsfolk. At the same time, your choices have consequences and weight in the world. They said that if you kill an innkeeper’s husband, she’ll be out front crying afterward.
But most of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 gameplay from Gamescom focuses on questing, dialogue, and exploration. It’s a fantastic look at the world and how we can interact with the environment in numerous unique ways. The immersion appears through the roof, and that will lead many of us to spend hundreds of hours exploring medieval Europe in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!
Now that we know the official release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, what do you think of the game? Does it have a chance at GOTY in 2025?
