Kena: Bridge of Spirits Releases for Xbox Consoles on August 15

Kena: Bridge of Spirts pre-orders for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One will be going live soon.

In a new turn of events, we see one of PlayStation’s titles come over to Xbox instead of the other way around. Ember Labs is releasing Kena: Bridge of Spirits on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One physically and digitally on August 15, 2024. The devs are collaborating with Maximum Entertainment Retail for the physical release, which provides the player with some bonus content. Xbox hasn’t provided a price tag for the game yet, but we should expect pre-orders at major retailers to go live soon.

Moreover, through the physical copy, players can expect the base game, along with some bonus content. An official soundtrack and retail exclusive sticker sheet are available to add to your collection. In terms of in-game cosmetics, players can explore the world of the game while rocking a Unique Kena Staff and Golden Rot skins. Also, to celebrate the launch on the new platform, players will see an Xbox Exclusive pirate-themed Rot hat to claim too.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a narrative-focused adventure. You play the role of a young Spirit Guide called Kena, who has set foot on a detailed journey towards the sacred Mountain Shrine. Along the way, you find trapped spirits that need to be rescued with the help of Rot. Rot is your cute companions that help you surpass various obstacles in your journey. Furthermore, the game also includes enjoyable, fast-paced combat, with some light platforming and engaging boss fights.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be released in 2021 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, along with PC via Epic Games Store. Similar to what we have seen with other PlayStation titles such as Sifu, Stray, and Deathloop, to name a few, the game was a timed exclusive.
