A remake of the original Jet Set Radio is in development at SEGA, and screenshots from the game have been leaked online.
The four screenshots come from an early in-development version of the game. They give players a look at the game’s map, environment, art style, and more. Obviously, with it being so early in the development, things are likely — and expected — to change.
According to the poster, the images come from around 2021, and aren’t related to the free-to-play live service game that’s also in development.
Insider Gaming has reached out to SEGA about the legitimacy of the screenshots. As of publishing, however, no response has been received.
Jet Set Radio first released in 2000 for the Sega Dreamcast. Since then, it has been released on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, iOS, and Android. It’s one of a handful of games receiving remakes and reboots at SEGA, including Golden Axe, Crazy Taxi, Shinobi, and Streets of Rage.
