Ever since the original Call of Duty: Black Ops way back in 2010, when I was still in school, shockingly enough, fans have gravitated toward one specific multiplayer map: Nuketown. It’s a compact, CQB haven that pushes players into firefights around every corner. Well, everyone wants to know if Nuketown returns in Black Ops 6. Here’s your answer!
Is Nuketown in Black Ops 6?
If you’re one of the masses who love Nuketown, you’ll be ecstatic to learn it’s returning to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. While the iconic map won’t launch on day one with the rest of the game’s multiplayer maps and modes, it will arrive shortly after on November 1.
It’s unclear precisely what improvements or layout we’ll see in this version of Nuketown. However, a short teaser using game engine footage shared on X reveals a nuclear bomb popping off in the background and, for the most part, an idyllic setting beforehand.
