Capcom has a history of bringing its titles to Xbox Game Pass. Monster Hunter Wilds coming to Xbox Game Pass would expose the hit franchise to an even wider audience, so let’s see if Microsoft and Capcom are fighting side by side.
Monster Hunter is a franchise that seems to be getting bigger—as does its monsters. Monster Hunter World broke new ground and became a hit across the globe. With roughly 25 million copies sold, it’s safe to say Capcom has another winner on its hands. Monster Hunter Wilds is looking to tame 2025, and the ARPG has already gained huge traction.
Even with plenty of games coming to Xbox Game Pass this year, it stands to reason Wilds would be a huge coup.
Can You Play Monster Hunter Wilds on Xbox Game Pass?

Monster Hunter Wilds is not currently gearing up for an Xbox Game Pass day one launch.
Game Pass has had some early 2025 hits come to its service in Sniper Elite Resistance and Avowed. But I hate to report Monster Hunter Wilds isn’t partying up.
Capcom hasn’t officially said an Xbox Game Pass debut for Wilds is out of the question. However, there are the usual ways to rule this possibility out. Firstly, no Monster Hunter Wilds trailer has been stamped with the Game Pass logo. Microsoft is quick to let people know if a game is Game Pass compatible.
Furthermore, the Monster Hunter Wilds Microsoft Store page doesn’t mention it coming to the subscription service either. An eligible title has an indicator near the top saying “Included with Game Pass.” Wilds does not, meaning, the new Monster Hunter isn’t coming to Microsoft’s service.
Will Monster Hunter Wilds Come to Xbox Game Pass?
Previous Monster Hunter games have come to Xbox Game Pass, meaning there’s a good chance Monster Hunter Wilds is coming to Xbox Game Pass in the future.
You can play Monster Hunter Rise on Game Pass—as of writing—but it took a couple of years for the move to happen. It took a couple of years for the move to happen though. So, I wouldn’t get your hopes up of Wilds arriving on Game Pass anytime soon. But, if you’re not looking to pick up the ARPG immediately and you have Game Pass, you can save yourself a few dollars by waiting patiently to get your hunt on.
