As someone who spends a lot of free time exploring the various worlds Bethesda creates, including Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Skyrim, I heavily lean toward their style of gameplay. And I’m not particular; I’ll play their titles on any system. But there’s one sorely missing from the equation. Is Fallout: London coming to consoles?
Can You Play Fallout: London on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S?
As of right now, no, you cannot play Fallout: London on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. Despite its overwhelming size and production quality, Fallout: London remains just a game mod. It’s not a full-blown expansion or standalone experience, which significantly limits its potential.
In the team’s official FAQ, they addressed the question of whether they’ll launch London on any other systems besides PC. The answer was, sadly, a resounding “No.” There are limitations, permissions to receive, and an entirely new development path to launching on either current-gen system. It’s simply not viable for a small mod development team.
That said, the team has expressed interest in launching Fallout: London as a standalone game, but it would require permission from Bethesda to move forward. That’s highly unlikely, of course.

Will Fallout: London Launch on Consoles at a Later Date?
There’s no use in straight-up saying “Never” because it could absolutely happen in the future. Right now, those cards remain off the table. It’s a logistics nightmare for a small team to manage. As mentioned previously, they require explicit permission from Bethesda, and perhaps even from Microsoft now that they own the latter, to launch Fallout: London as a standalone game.
That’s what it would take to release on console: standalone status. As a mod, it’s just not viable on either system due to mod download limitations and other legalities that, honestly, I don’t comprehend. I’m not a lawyer.
