I’ve recently had the pleasure of sitting down and playing Delta Force: Hawk Ops as part of its PC Alpha test, and I’m pleasantly surprised. I don’t typically lean into first-person shooters with hero-type characters, but this one captured me from the first bullet whizzing by my head. It’s downright fun, with so much potential. But I’m playing on PC. Is Delta Force: Hawk Ops coming to PS5?
Can You Play Delta Force: Hawk Ops on PS5?
Worry not because Delta Force: Hawk Ops is coming to PS5 on launch. In fact, it’s launching almost everywhere, except for on Xbox One, oddly enough, but also on:
- PC
- Steam
- Epic Games Store
- Level Infinite Launcher
- Xbox Series X|S
- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation 5
- Android
- iOS
Yeah, I honestly cannot see this game functioning well on mobile devices. I may wind up eating my words, but it’s such a massive, over-the-top experience from the get-go that it simply doesn’t suit mobile gameplay whatsoever.

Will Delta Force: Hawk Ops Have a PS5 Alpha or Beta?
There is no official word on whether Delta Force: Hawk Ops will launch an Alpha or Beta test on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. They’re currently running a PC Alpha test phase, which includes access to the game’s Hazard Operations, its extraction mode, and Havoc Warfare, an attack and defense game mode most similar to Battlefield.
While I did enjoy my time in Hazard Operations, Havoc Warfare stole the show. It’s everything I want from a “Battlefield killer,” with chaos raining down upon everyone as the sky lights up with explosions and gunfire.
You won’t have to wait long if you’re looking for another free-to-play first-person shooter. Arena Breakout: Infinite is right around the corner!
