Intel Is Giving Away Civilization 7 And Assassin’s Creed Shadows With CPU Purchase

If you have been looking at upgrading your CPU in your gaming PC, there’s a new offer that may entice you to make the purchase. Intel has announced that those who purchase select CPUs will get both Civilization 7 and Assassin’s Creed Shadows completely free.

Until March 31, those who buy either an Intel Core Ultra series 2 or Intel Core 14th-gen processor will qualify for PC versions of the games.

The full list of qualifying processors are:

  • Intel® Core™ i5-14600K
  • Intel® Core™ i5-14600KF
  • Intel® Core™ i7-14700K
  • Intel® Core™ i7-14700KF
  • Intel® Core™ i9-14900K
  • Intel® Core™ i9-14900KF
  • Intel® Core™ i9-14900KS
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 processor 245K
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 processor 245KF
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor 265K
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor 265KF
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 285K

Once you purchase your CPU, you have until May 15th to redeem the games. To do so, you’ll have to create an account on Intel’s specific website, and follow the instructions it gives you at that time.

For those who also have Intel’s new Battlemage graphics card, both Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Civilization 7 will include support for Intel’s XeSS 2 technology. That includes support for its new XeSS Super Resolution that works to upscale graphics within your game.
