Intel Core Ultra 200V Series CPU Features
With the new lineup of mobile CPUs, Intel is making a number of improvements over its last generation of processors.
One of the biggest updates is a reduction in power consumption. According to Intel, the new Core Ultra 200V CPUs use up to 50% less power while still providing faster speeds, overall. Intel says that graphic performance is up to a 30% improvement from last generation’s Core Ultra 7 155H while having an 18% boost in CPU core speed.
The big selling point for the new lineup of CPU is that Intel is gearing it towards newer “AI PC” experiences. The built-in NPU (Neural Processing Unit) offers three times the performance of last generation with double the bandwidth and up to 48 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second).
The CPUs will also support Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4, and PCIe 5.0 across all SKUs.
Pre-orders for begin today, September 3. There will be over 80 unique designs from 20 different manufacturers such as ASUS, Acer, Lenovo, LG, MSI, and more.
