During today’s Nintendo Switch 2 Direct event, a new game for the Zelda series, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, was announced.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a story that will lead into The Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The trailer gave us a glimpse of gameplay and narrative sequences for the upcoming title. Some combat was showcased, with different characters using weapons such as spears, swords and more while combining them with powerful magic. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is set to arrive this Winter.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is being developed by Koei Tecmo Games and receiving development support from Nintendo. The game will feature the untold story of the Imprisonment War in Hyrule not long ago. The trailer also teases that multiple playable characters will be in the upcoming game, with Zelda being one of them. Moreover, the game will be bringing over the build mechanics from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
