Black Ops 6 Season 1 introduced players to the Krig C and Saug, two new weapons that have immediately impacted the meta in both Multiplayer and Warzone. The new weapons can be unlocked via the Battle Pass, but that’s not the only new additions being added to the arsenal, as the devs confirmed more are arriving in-season.
The Power Drill is a new Melee Weapon set to arrive in BO6 Season 1, so if you’re interested in how to unlock it, here’s everything you need to know.
How to get Power Drill in BO6 & Warzone
Players can get the Power Drill through the Hit List event that’s set to arrive in Black Ops 6 on November 21. Play the event and work your way through contracts to earn all the rewards, which include two new weapons – Power Drill and Sirin 9mm.
To unlock the Power Drill in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, you must acquire 1,000 personal eliminations during the Hit List event. In layman’s terms, you need to kill 1,000 other players on the opposing team before December 5 to unlock the melee weapon reward!
Black Ops 6 Power Drill details
The Power Drill is a Melee Weapon that requires two hits to kill. It’s very short range, and while it takes two hits to eliminate an enemy, it has “very fast attack speed” to make up for it, according to the Call of Duty blog. The weapon has 30 levels and you can earn Mastery Badges for it too.
Melee weapons are best used on smaller maps, so if you’re looking to get kills with the Power Drill, try getting behind enemy lines on maps like Stakeout and Nuketown in order to take unsuspecting enemies out.
