There’s a lot to love and hate in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. For many, the time limit still irks them. I understand as, when playing the original game, I was not too fond of the time constraints. I appreciate them now, though. But one of the more unforgiving mechanics in the game, the save system, is now a little more lenient. Here’s how to save in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster!
How to Save Your Game in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
You can save your game in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster from the green couch in the Security Room. It’s the first save point you’ll encounter in the game and where you’re taught to save. But it’s not the only save spot. You can also save by visiting one of the mall’s many restrooms, including:
- Paradise Plaza
- Colby’s Movieland
- Wonderland Plaza
- North Plaza
Walk into any one of the restrooms across the mall and interact with the stall to save your game. You should make a habit of saving whenever you find a safe spot, as you never know when a horde is going to overrun you, or a psychopath will pop up out of nowhere to ambush you!

Does Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Autosave?
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster features a rather generous autosave system that modernizes and entices new players. It will autosave the game when you load into a new zone and when you complete certain story content. It’s nice that you won’t lose progress while playing the various cases, but I’m more excited about autosave upon entering a new zone. You can run through a zone relatively quickly, within minutes, unless you’re scouring every store for weapons and food, and then move on to the next. It’s an easy checkpoint system that highly benefits everyone.
