How to Revive Party Members in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

If you’re brand-new to the Final Fantasy franchise or recently coming off a long break from the series, you might be curious about the various items and abilities in the game. It’s a lot to swallow, so let us help you. Here is how to revive party members in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth!

How to Revive Your Party in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

You will stumble across all manner of items in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, with one of the most important being Phoenix Down, the critical item capable of reviving party members in the game.

Alongside reviving key members of your party, should they go down during combat encounters, Phoenix Down provides a small amount of HP. It’s just enough to get your partners back in the fight without risking them immediately going back down.

You will want to heal up further after using a revival item in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Use a Healing Materia, Hi-Potion, or Mega-Potion to ensure your party remains on their feet and is fighting the good fight!

Where to Get Phoenix Down in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Like most other healing items in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you can acquire Phoenix Down in several ways:

  • As loot picked up from the various chests and smashed boxes scattered about the game world.
  • As rewards for tackling side quests throughout the numerous zones.
  • By purchasing the item from vendors in hub areas.

It’s always wise to keep a steady supply available, though. In the first chapter alone, you should wind up with double-digits of Phoenix Down simply from breaking boxes and looting the occasional chest on Mt. Nibel.
