Constant monsters lurking around and trying to nom on you in REPO mean the revive mechanic is key. The more, the merrier, and if you keep struggling with death, knowing the different ways to revive is paramount to counteract the paranormal.
REPO is a dark game shining bright in 2025. Its player count numbers are impressive and its comparisons to Lethal Company are being lauded. It adds plenty of twists and turns along the way, but a good ‘ol revive function features. It’s rather unconventional—like a lot of REPO, aptly.
Before I digress, let’s check out reviving in REPO and how to keep a run alive.
How to Revive Teammates in REPO

There are two ways to revive teammates in REPO: Gather your fallen ally’s head and place it in the loot drop-off zone once you’ve reached the required money total, or by completing the round.
Manually Reviving a Teammate
The manual revive technique likely bypasses a lot of newcomers. If any team member is eliminated, you need to know where they died. Thankfully, REPO characters have large bodies, and almost-as-big heads.
So here’s a quick little guide on what to do:
- Load into a game of REPO.
- Keep playing until you lose a teammate.
- Explore the area until you find their head lying prone on the floor.
- Pick it up and bring it back to the Extraction Zone.
- Find and bring back enough salvage to meet the level’s requirement.
- Drop the final item—taking you over the total—into the Extraction Zone.
- Wait for the point to consume the loot and let you know the outcome of your haul.
- Once successful, your teammate instantly appears and is ready to go again!
Automatically Reviving a Teammate
We want to prioritize manually reviving a teammate as if a player is automatically revived for completing a level, they start the next map with very little health.
To progress in REPO, you need to complete rounds, so this second method is by far the easiest to understand and encounter. Exit the level, and any eliminated players are restored to the party.
But you make your run infinitely harder—so do all you can to find your friend’s head and hit the level quota.
We have many more guides for REPO including information on its platforms, how many people can play it, and the latest information on the horror title’s server status.
