Is the GeForce RTX 5090 Graphics Card Worth Buying?
My recommendation is to only buy the GeForce RTX 5090 Graphics Card if you can afford it.
In the same way, the PS5 Pro is a positive but incremental expensive upgrade of the base model PS5, the RTX 5090 fits the same mold. There’s no doubting the power of the RTX 5090, and it ensures premium specs for any title—possibly GTA 6—for several years to come.
However, I feel “lesser “inferior” lines in the series are more than capable of producing results for half the cost. Technology is so advanced in all walks of life that upgrades now are minute in comparison to the leaps made say 10 years ago.
My Samsung S22 Ultra is over two years old, but it still runs fast with terrific specs. Newer upgrades outshine it, sure, but if it already does everything I want it to, is it worth lumping a ton of cash into a new phone to do the same thing slightly better?
I feel the RTX 5090 Graphics Card is for early adopters who want the best of the best. I’d recommend waiting for reviews, a sale, or looking at lesser RTX 50 Series models first.

Hey Thought this was A good read, yay Your not in the minority when it comes to the thoughts you stated, I think waiting and seeing and or skipping this generation Entirely is a good idea, But I think people are gonna buy the RTX 5090 more of because they don’t want to feel left out or always want the latest and greatest no matter the price.
I feel the best option in the releases is the 5070TI But As you said its better to wait for 3rd party reviews
