Liberty Falls and Terminus represent the next chapter in the Call of Duty Zombies saga, and the good news is they don’t need to be done solo, or online with other people; two people can play BLOPS 6 Zombies in split-screen from the comfort of a couch.
I say comfort, but some of the horrifying additions to Black Ops 6 Zombies this year give me nightmares. Nevertheless, a feature requested by the loyal Zombies community is the option to play Zombies split-screen—and Black Ops 6 has duly obliged.
You and a partner can team up, share the pain of finding Ray Guns together, and try to open the Liberty Falls Vault.
Black Ops 6 Zombies Split-Screen Explained
To play Black Ops 6 Zombies in split-screen, you need to go to the Zombies home menu screen, log in with another controller and user profile, press to join, and you should be all set to play Zombies in split-screen.
Choose your partner wisely, Black Ops 6 Zombies is no joke, as mini-bosses and mobs quickly swarm you, engulf you, and turn your surroundings into a fleshy cesspool. For deeper instructions on how to set up a split-screen game, here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Load up Black Ops 6.
- Choose the “Zombies” portion of the package.
- On the main lobby screen, grab another controller (connect it if needed) and turn it on.
- Sign in with a profile—it can’t be a guest profile, it needs to be a fully-fledged user account.
- If you haven’t already, make sure the player has an Activision account and log into it too.
- When this is all done, press X on PlayStation (or the applicable button or key on your format).
- Doing so should make the second player’s name appear in the top-right corner under player one.
- Now, choose “Select Mission.”
- Select a “Standard” match.
- Finally, make sure to “Play in a Squad.”
If all is done correctly, you can play split-screen Zombies together. Again, this can either be on Liberty Falls, Terminus, or, presumably, any of the future maps outlined by Activision as part of the long-term content train.
