PGA Tour 2K25’s Early Access lets you get a headstart over your competition. You get to experience the highs and lows of simulated golf sooner than most, and you can start racking up birdies and bogeys en route to Major glory.
Early Access is used as a clever marketing strategy for many games nowadays. It appeals to the players desperate to play a new launch ASAP. PGA Tour 2K25 has a loyal community built up thanks to HB Studios’ early days of making The Golf Club franchise. Many are already packing the waterproofs and loading up on extra Pro V1s in the clubhouse in readiness for 2K25 and its countless courses.
This is why I’m here to caddy for you and assist you in securing Early Access.
How to Get PGA Tour 2K25 Early Access
To earn Early Access, you must pre-order PGA Tour 2K25 Deluxe or Legend Edition.
PGA Tour 2K25 has several editions to consider. Each one gradually increases in price, offering more content in the process. One of the biggest incentives is easily Early Access—getting us on the course before our tee time.
Here’s a quick guide on how to secure this big bonus:
- Go to PGA Tour 2K25’s website.
- Scroll down until you see the advertised Legend Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Standard Edition.
- Click Pre-order now on either the Legend or Deluxe Edition.
- Choose your Region from the dropdown box.
- Now press on either the PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam symbol—depending on which platform you want to play PGA Tour 2K25 on.
- Again, click the newer Pre-order now button.
- Select the Pre-order option on your platform’s storefront.
- Purchase the edition and confirm it.
- Once done, you can download PGA Tour 2K25 when Early Access starts.
Early Access is the equivalent of arriving at the course an hour early to get a good warm-up on the Putting Green and Driving Range before meeting your partners bang on go time. Get involved, and begin your 2K25 career instantly.
When is PGA Tour 2K25 Early Access?
PGA Tour 2K25 Early Access gets underway on February 21.
You can have fans obnoxiously yelling “Mashed Potatoes!” at you seven days before the full launch (Mashed Potato chants are unconfirmed.) Many things can be done in seven days: Get a big start on your created character’s Career Mode and prepare them for Online Modes and Ranked Play.
You also get the benefits of the Early Birdie Bonus with the Deluxe or Legend Edition.
My roots go back to The Golf Club 2, pass through PGA Tour 2K21, and take me to 2K23—where I’ve invested many hours. I’m excited about 2K25, but I want to know what you think, and if this is the next big leap required.
It will be interesting to see if PGA Tour 2K25 gets a Nintendo Switch 2 port on the new hardware.
