Once you’re a couple of hours into Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, you’ll find yourself faced with a relatively tricky puzzle. You’re tasked with opening a cabin door that has a padlock on it with nothing but symbols to guide the way to the solution. It’s not immediately obvious what to do, so this guide will teach you how to open the cabin door in Bloom & Rage.
Unlock the Door in Bloom & Rage in the Cabin
As you face the door, you’ll want to turn around 180 degrees and pick up the note that’s pinned to the wall. This will reveal a basic key highlighting where you’ll find the symbols needed to resolve the padlock puzzle, but it’s still not clear.
To unlock the cabin door in Bloom & Rage, you’ll need to use the following solution, from left to right: eye, moon, leaf, and stars.
If you’ve done it right, it’ll look like this:
Once you’ve entered this padlock solution, you’ll find that the lock drops off the door and you can finally let your friends in.
If you want to find the necessary symbols around the cabin, you’ll need to head into the attic via the pull cord to find one, while another is behind the bear trap on the far wall. The last symbol you need is on the bottom of a canister located near the kitchen area.
Aside from this, the only other puzzle you need to be concerned about is the one involving another padlock at The Blue Spruce much later in the game.
Bloom & Rage is heavy on the narrative but quite light on the more puzzling aspects, which for some gamers makes for a refreshing change. When you unlock the cabin door in Bloom & Rage, you’ll be around the midpoint of the game – there’s plenty left.
