How To Get Ray Gun Mark II In Shattered Veil – Black Ops 6 Zombies Guide

Everyone wants the Ray Gun during a game of Zombies, but even more than that, they want the Ray Gun Mark II. This cherished item is fairly tough to come by unless you want to play around with Lady Luck at the Mystery Box.

Fortunately, there are a few steps that you can complete to walk right into a room and seize the Ray Gun Mark II while playing Shattered Veil, the new Zombies map in Black Ops 6.

Read on to learn how to get the Ray Gun Mark II in Shattered Veil as quickly as possible.

Where is the Floppy Disk in Shattered Veil?

Firstly, you’ll need to get your hands on some retro tech – a floppy disk. For the younger readers out there, think of a USB stick from like, fifty years ago.

The Floppy Disk pops up at Round 10, but to get it, you’ll need to find a specific zombie – the Lab Technician.

He appears in the Mainframe Chamber, which is deep under the mansion. To get there, you’ll need to switch the power on and activate the elevator, triggering an ascension cable that you can use freely.

From around Round 10 onwards, head into the Mainframe Chamber to find the Lab Technician and pick up the Floppy Disk he drops.

This is the first step on the road to getting the Ray Gun Mark II.

What to do With the Floppy Disk in Black Ops 6

Once you’ve got your Floppy Disk, you’ll need to sprint over to the east side of the mansion, towards the Stamin-Up dispenser. There’s a fax machine buzzing away near the drink machine, and it’s here that you’ll need to use the Floppy Disk.

Interact with the computer near the fax machine, and a code will be printed – but it’ll take a few seconds. You’ll need to watch your back during this segment of the challenge.

The codeword is random and will be different every time you generate it, so make sure you remember it.

Where to Use the Code in Shattered Veil

Now that you’ve got the code, it’s over to the other side of the mansion to the area that resembles a nursery – it’s near the PhD Flopper dispenser. In the corner, you’ll see a chalkboard, and on that chalkboard is a series of letters and numbers.

Simply match the codeword you got with what’s on the board, and you have the next step unlocked.

How to Get to the Doppelghast in the Cell

Head back down to the Mainframe Chamber and open the door to the Service Tunnel if you haven’t already. In there, you’ll see a glass cell at the far end of the corridor containing a fearsome Doppelghast.

Here’s where that code comes in handy – you’re only one more step away from the Ray Gun Mark II at this point.

Enter the code into the panel near the door, and the Doppelghast will burst out. Eliminating it will yield a Severed Arm, which you’ll need to take to the Armory that’s just down the corridor, deeper into the Service Tunnel.

Once you’re in the Armory, it’s just a matter of heading to the DNA scanner next to the Ray Gun Mark II case on the wall, scanning the Severed Arm, and hey presto, you’ve got one of the most powerful weapons in COD Zombies.

That wasn’t so hard, was it?
