Throne and Liberty’s premium in-game currency, Lucent, is necessary if you want to buy anything from the in-game shop. There, you can find a number of Morphs and Amitoi, weapon and armor cosmetics, and service features, like server transfers and scrolls to rename your character. Most will want Lucent for cosmetics, though. Thankfully, there are ways to earn the premium currency without whipping out a credit card!
You Can Buy Lucent in the In-Game Store
The easiest way to get Lucent in Throne and Liberty is, of course, by paying. If you purchase one of the more expensive Early Access Packs—Deluxe or Ultimate—you will receive a handful of Lucent as part of the bundle. Alternatively, you can visit the in-game microtransaction store after completing the game’s tutorial prologue section and purchase various bundles of the premium currency.
These bundles range in price from $9.99 to a staggering $99.99!
There are currently four currency bundles available to purchase:
- x500 – $9.99
- x1,125 – $19.99
- x2,875 – $49.99
- x6,000 – $99.99

Or Earn Lucent Free Through Gameplay
Alternatively, if you’d rather not spend a cent on an in-game premium currency for another MMORPG (I don’t blame you!), there are other options.
You can earn Lucent in-game by selling high-end items on the game’s Auction House. When you make a sale, you’ll earn a small chunk of the currency, and it accumulates over time so that you can save up and buy cosmetics or something else.
Then, you can earn Lucent as a reward for ranking well in the game’s PvP modes. If you don’t mind fighting other players in a tab-target MMORPG, it’s an excellent way to earn cosmetics without spending anything but time!
