To obtain Flair in Pokémon Pocket, you need to collect Shinedust and duplicates of the same card to trade everything in for a Flair cosmetic.
Shinedust is one of many currencies in Pokémon Pocket alongside Gold, Hourglasses, and Tickets. There are different ways you can go about getting it:
- Getting a duplicate card from a Booster Pack.
- Completing missions offering Shinedust as a reward.
- Being victorious in Battles.
- Reaching milestones for Achievements.
- Buying it from the Shop when it becomes available during limited-time periods.
All are completely viable ways of obtaining Flair in Pokémon Pocket. Eventually, you should rack up hundreds—if not thousands—of Shinedust to use on the Flair process.
How to Add Flair to a Card in Pokémon Pocket
You have to go to your card collection, press on the applicable card you want to add Flair to in Pokémon Pocket and press “Obtain Flair.”
Here’s a more detailed step-by-step guide on how to do this:
- Look at Pokémon Pocket’s menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the second symbol across that looks like a Pokedex.
- Find a Pokémon card you own the required amount of duplicates of.
- On the card, press “Obtain Flair.“
- If you have the correct amount of cards and Shinedust, press “Exchange.”
- Pokémon Pocket completes the process for you, and your card now has the “Sparkle Flair: Gold (Cosmetic).
- If you wish to add further Flair designs to the same card, you need to have the correct amount of duplicates again, plus, even more Flair.
How Much Flair do You Need For Pokémon Pocket Upgrades?
The amount of Flair needed varies depending on the rarity of the card in Pokémon Pocket.
For example, a basic 1-Diamond-rated card doesn’t require as many duplicates or Shinedust as a 3-Diamond-rated card—as you keep upgrading a card’s Flair, the cost increases too.
