How to get Dramatic Success in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Dramatic success is one of the mechanics implemented in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the new game from Omega Force.

Players can trigger tactics by using soldiers in battles. These tactics vary, ranging from archers with flaming arrows to spear walls. After being cast, these tactics can have normal effects or achieve dramatic success.

Keep an eye for blue lines

When you trigger a tactic, it can activate the dramatic success effect. To achieve this, it’s quite simple: just activate the tactic from a certain distance or height. The game makes life easier for players because there is an indicator of when dramatic success will be activated.

As you play, keep an eye on the visual indication with blue lines and the icon of the tactic you need to activate. Check out the example in the image below:

Activate the tactic that appears on the screen and you will be able to activate dramatic success. If a white circle appears when the tactic lands, congratulations, you did everything right! The system is crucial for greatly reducing the enemy’s Courage bar and clearing large troop contingents.

You can increase the number of soldiers you can deploy and obtain new Tactics doing the secondary missions that appears in the world map.

Here’s a list of all Tactics in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. You can check them out in the Squad submenu:

During battles, watch the number of soldiers available in your battalion. If they all die, you won’t be able to use any tactics in battle. Are you enjoying Dynasty Warriors: Origins? Tell us in the comments and join the discussion in our forum!
