While the Black Ops 6 XP grind isn’t supposed to be as bad as previous years, the desire to earn Double XP in BLOPS 6 is as strong as ever. With so many guns to level up and player levels to grind, earning two times XP is crucial; and it can be done thanks to a few tried and tested methods.
Recent Call of Duty games have had the community up in arms over the purportedly (but sometimes proven to be true) slow XP rates. Leveling up a gun has often needed several matches to budge one tiny level—which is quite problematic when the newest meta gun is on the block, and you’re too behind to get involved.
It remains to be seen how stringent Black Ops 6‘s XP-earning rates are compared to its predecessors. In the meantime, there are a few ways to guarantee faster progression, but you need to be quick.
Best Ways to Get Double XP Codes and Tokens in Black Ops 6
Black Ops 6’s inevitable Double XP Weekends is going to be the most consistent way to earn twice as much XP across Player Ranks, Weapon Levels, and the Battle Pass. Not only this, but promotional Double XP Tokens are offered by limited-time CoD events, plus, the likes of Monster, and Little Caesars, offer XP boosts—but these are more limited.
Unfortunately, Activision made the bold decision to deny Double XP Tokens carrying over from Modern Warfare 3 to Black Ops 6. In light of this, here are the best ways to get Double XP boosts.
Double XP Weekends
The first-ever double XP weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 coincides with the launch of Nuketown 24/7 on November 1. Double XP Weekends do what they say on the tin: From Friday through to Monday, you can earn two times XP on different aspects of CoD’s leveling systems.
Keep checking back with Insider Gaming as we’ll be sure to fill you in on everything you need to know about the first (and subsequent) Double XP Weekends.
Special CoD Events
Call of Duty titles like to celebrate seasonal events, tie-ins to movies or other games, or just spice things up with a special event. This new batch of content usually features a multitude of challenges to earn special skins, other cosmetics, XP, and Double XP Tokens to use at your leisure.
Again, we are following every move Activision and Treyarch make, and we should have news about every Black Ops 6 limited-time event and theme.
Monster Energy codes
Monster Energy loves a Call of Duty tie-in, and Black Ops 6 carries on this fruitful relationship. As per Monster Energy, you can “Buy any Monster Energy to earn Call of Duty Black Ops 6 in-game rewards.”
If you enjoy a good caffeine-boosting Monster Energy fix, you are rewarded by the manufacturer with bonus Black Ops 6 goodies. If you buy a special BLOPS 6-styled can of the popular energy drink; register your code, and enjoy any of these listed add-ons:
- Reward 1: Weapon Blueprint + 15-minute Double XP Token.
- Reward 2: Operator Skin + 15-minute Double XP Token.
- Reward 3: Large Decal + 15-minute Double XP Token.
- Reward 4: Operator Skin + 15-minute Double XP Token. (Different Operator Skin to Reward 2)
- Reward 5: Large Decal + 15-minute Double XP Token. (Different Large Decal to Reward 3)
Little Caesers promotion
I love pizza, and guessing by Little Caeser’s steadfast commitment to Black Ops 6, so do the rest of Call of Duty players. According to the small print, you have until 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 12/31/24 to take part in this exclusive crossover. A North Pole pizza party can’t hurt, and as long as you make a qualifying purchase, you have the opportunity to be treated to one of “16,914 prizes.”
The advertisement says the following rewards are cooking in the oven (not literally): “Dual 2XP,” along with Charms, Emblems, Operator Skins, and even Battle Passes!
