How to Fix Black Ops 6 Crashing PC Error

Black Ops 6 has been out for a little over a week now, and while many players are having a blast on the game, some are struggling to get into the game. Are you a victim of the infamous Black Ops 6 PC crashing error? Well, here is how you can fix it.

Fixing the Black Ops 6 Crashing PC Error

Does your PC keep crashing every time you attempt to open Black Ops 6? The new Call of Duty may be fun to play, but its large file size drains your GPU and CPU while taking up a lot of space on a computer. However, it seems like PS5s and Xboxes are not having the same issues some PCs are having.

So, how can you stop your game from crashing your PC? Well, here are a few solutions.

Update GPU Drivers

A large majority of the time your game is crashing your entire PC because your GPU drivers are not up to date. To get Black Ops 6 to stop crashing your PC, simply head to whatever driver app you have and update it.

This will require you to restart your PC, however, so make sure you have everything saved.

Black Ops 6, being a hefty game graphics-wise, needs the most updated drivers to run. Anything less will not allow the game to be playable, as it is constantly being updated and enhanced for players. Always be sure to check your drivers if you are having issues. NVIDIA and AMD, both need updating from time to time.

Restart Your PC

Another fix could simply just be restarting your PC, although most will have probably tried this already before reading this guide. If the error happens more than once, then updating your GPU driver is the most likely fix.

If none of these fixes help, then there may be a more internal issue with your PC, meaning you may have to take it to a professional and get it looked at.
