How to Drops Items in Schedule 1? Discard Items Explained

You have limited inventory space in Schedule 1. This knowledge means you have to balance a crowded storage space that isn’t very intuitive about how to manage it. Luckily, we’ve done some digging to find out the basics and must-know details.

Schedule 1 has a unique concept: Make drugs, sell drugs, and become a tyrannical overlord. Think Breaking Bad and Scarface rolled into one virtual experience—this is Schedule 1.

It’s overcoming IP copyright infringement claims to remain a constantly popular game on Steam. Half a million players have jumped in simultaneously, and most of them probably struggled to drop items in Schedule 1 too.

You can’t technically drop items in Schedule 1; the only way to get rid of an item in your possession is to use the Discard function to get rid of the item forever.

Here’s a quick walkthrough on how to drop and discard items:

  1. Load into Schedule 1.
  2. Look for something you want to get rid of in your inventory on the bottom bar.
  3. Click on the item.
  4. Drag it across to the red Discard box in the bottom-right corner.
  5. Let go of the item, and the Discard feature takes care of the rest!

I can’t tell if this is a deliberate design choice or has been overlooked in development. But for now, the only way to free up space in your inventory is to permanently throw an item away. You can’t drop something on the floor and pick it up later, it’s sent into the void for all eternity.

I recommend either using the item instead, as most items are useful, or make sure you know how to reacquire it easily if you need it again in the future.

Do You Have to Discard Items to Free Space in Schedule 1?

Currently, yes, you must discard items to make room for new goodies in Schedule 1.

There’s no storage system or way to keep currently-owned items for the future. I wouldn’t worry too much though as this is a common complaint across the community. Schedule 1 has new updates coming, and better still, the developer already has an exhaustive roadmap of ideas and content that will be implemented into the game.

It seems to be full steam ahead for Schedule 1—despite the threat of legal action. Hundreds of thousands of players are enjoying it, and if you like it too, leave a comment to let us know why.
