Until Dawn is the final quest in a difficult line introduced to celebrate Halloween. It’s a night-based questline that’s capped off with a need to kill a ridiculous number of Cultists across every map that they spawn on. It’s time to buckle up and strap on a torch – you’re about to learn how to complete Until Dawn in Escape from Tarkov.
Prepare to Hunt
In Until Dawn in Escape from Tarkov, the core goal is to kill a huge number of Cultists.
This task follows on from The Graven Image, and before that, Night of the Cult. It’s the final task out of the three, and that means the rewards for completing it are enormous, but my word is it an awkward challenge.
To complete Until Dawn, you’ll need to kill 15 Cultists on every map that they spawn:
- Lighthouse
- Streets of Tarkov
- Night Factory (anywhere)
- Customs (ZB-013 extraction)
- Woods (near ritual sites)
- Shoreline (near Swamp Village and at the resort)
- Ground Zero (anywhere)
That’s 105 Cultists in total. Given that they have a spawn rate on some maps of just 20% and they rarely spawn in groups of more than 3 or 4, you will be grinding your soul away to complete this task. There are some hefty rewards, though:
- 75,000 EXP
- 500,000 roubles
- 1 RB-PKPM Marked Key
- 1 RB-VO Marked Key
- 1 RB-BK Marked Key
- 1 T-7 Thermal Goggles with Mount
- Unlock purchase of DVL-10
- Unlock purchase of Benelli M3
Fortunately, there isn’t much of a guide needed to teach you how to complete Until Dawn in Tarkov. You’ll just need to head to the locations that the Cultists spawn, hope that you beat other players there, and use your best gunny skills to take them down.
Remember that they don’t make noise when they move, they’re mostly immune to thermal devices, and they like to get close and stab you with a poisoned blade.
