- Double-check you pre-ordered any edition of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
- If it’s digital, check the content is downloaded, and if it’s a physical copy, ensure the code has been entered and the content is redeemed.
- Start a game of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
- Advance through the early hours until you finish the Laboratores mainline quest.
- You now have access to the full world.
- Go into the main building opposite the Troskowitz fast travel marker on the map.
- You can find a Scribe sitting in a room on the left-hand side of the building.
- Speak to them and exhaust all the dialogue options to receive the Lion’s Crest DLC content.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Gold Edition must be purchased to obtain the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, The Lion’s Crest bonus quest, and future expansions. The Gallant Huntsman’s Kit gear is automatically added to your inventory once you complete the Laboratores quest.
A similar theme is present for the pre-order and bonus content. It all hinges on you progressing through KC2 naturally until you finish the compulsory Laboratores main mission.
