As a thief with a penchant for taking anything not nailed down with her sidekick Nix, Kay Vess tends to wind up in trouble frequently. As such, you wind up in trouble frequently. It’s a pain when you’re trying to complete a job, and the Empire is continuously breathing down your neck. For a quick and easy payday, here is how to remove your wanted level in Star Wars Outlaws!
How to Clear Your Wanted Level
If you’re stuck dealing with a wanted level (bummer!), you have multiple options to clear your name and continue progressing through the story. Here’s how to remove that pesky wanted level:
- Seek out an Imperial Terminal and hack into its mainframe to clear your status. If you’re good at the hacking minigame, you can score a few credits or other valuable rewards as a bonus.
- Look for a Corrupt Officer stationed around the map. They’ll accept a bribe if you have enough credits to satiate them. As you explore more of the game world, you will inevitably stumble upon Corrupt Imperial Officers, which will appear marked on your map as a yellow Imperial icon.
- If you only suffer from the calamity of a low wanted level, you can run, wait, or hide from the Imperial forces seeking your arrest. They’ll call it off if the wanted level is low enough. But if you have a high wanted level, they’ll call our additional ground and air forces to find you, including Death Troopers!
While Star Wars Outlaws does feature extensive combat sequences, much of the game appears to flow significantly better when you opt for stealth in most encounters.

How to Get Rid of a Wanted Level in Space
Of course, not all of your encounters occur on land. Sometimes, you’ll find yourself dealing with the Empire in space, and that’s where the Imperial Satellites enter the picture.
As you’re soaring through the skies with reckless abandon, Imperial agents hot on your tail, keep an eye out for the telltale Imperial icon on your map indicating an Imperial Satellite. It’s the same basic principle as the Imperial Terminals on land.
As you fly close to the Imperial Satellite, you’ll see a prompt asking you to hold down the interact button to ‘Clear Wanted Status.’
Don’t worry about your credits because using the Imperial Satellite system to clear your wanted level in Star Wars Outlaws is free of charge!
