Following the announcement of the PS5 Pro, which everyone laughed about because of its excruciating price tag, Sony had the last laugh with the PS5 Anniversary Edition. It’s seriously gorgeous, and I, like many others, want one for the nostalgia. But it’s easy to say, “Oh, I’ll buy on day one,” when you don’t know the price tag. Well, here’s how much the PS5 Anniversary Edition will set you back!
What Does the PS5 Anniversary Edition Cost?
Are you ready for this? The PS4 Anniversary Edition price is set at $499.99 USD for the PS5 Slim (Digital Edition) and $79.99 USD for the DualSense 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Wireless Controller.
To complete the set, you’re looking at approximately $579.98 for the console bundle and an additional controller. Of course, they’re limited edition, which means the bundle will sell out quickly.
Is it more expensive than the usual PlayStation 5? Yeah! By about $50, which isn’t too severe considering the system’s unique aesthetic and limited nature. It’s a collector’s item more so than anything else.
Furthermore, the bundle isn’t just the console and a controller, which makes it even more worthwhile. It includes:
- PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition
- DualSense
- Faceplate
- Vertical Stand
- Sticker (Collector’s Edition)
However, whether the price tag is worthwhile or not for you is completely up to you!
