How Long Will The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct Last?

Nintendo is finally set to reveal full details on the Nintendo Switch 2 on Wednesday, April 2 with a new Nintendo Direct event. With a show this big from Nintendo, fans have been wondering how long will the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct last?

On Tuesday morning, Nintendo confirmed via social media that the show will run “approximately 60 minutes”.

It’s worth noting that Nintendo didn’t give any other hints as to what exactly will be shown during the event. That said, it’s expected that the company will reveal the full specs for the Nintendo Switch 2 along with release details, pricing, features, and insight into launch titles.

While there have been a number of rumors regarding what the Switch 2 will offer, one thing for sure is that it will have backwards compatibility for original Switch games. A recent rumor also suggests that the new console will be able to connect with the original, giving players an extra screen and/or controller to use for select games.

In addition to the Switch 2 reveal on Wednesday, Nintendo also confirmed that it will hold special Nintendo Treehouse shows on April 3 and 4. Starting at 10am ET/7am PT, the Treehouse shows will give players a look at a number of Nintendo Switch 2 games.
