This summer, a major update is being released on all platforms for Hogwarts Legacy, one of the best-selling games of 2023. The shining gem at the heart of the update is the new photo mode, which will allow players to capture their Wizarding World-based adventures like never before. It’s an advanced offering, boasting a range of filters, character poses, and the ability to change the time of day and even the season, impacting the weather and scenery in the shot.
More for Hogwarts
Hogwarts Legacy proved to be a stellar title when it was released in February 2023. It took over social and streaming platforms with ease and topped charts worldwide, before doing it all over again when it landed on further platforms as the year unravelled. In Hogwarts Legacy, players undertake a vast adventure that takes them in and around Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the surrounding map – the Forbidden Forest, for instance, is widely explorable.
Here’s the video-based breakdown of this update:
On June 6, this super-sized update will be released on all platforms, with WB Games promoting a social media campaign encouraging users to share their screenshots taken in photomode with the hashtag #CaptureTheUnwritten.
Fans are still asking for plenty of features to be added to Hogwarts Legacy, and more still are begging WB Games to produce some kind of DLC for the game, but at present, there’s no indication that’s on the cards.
