Hideo Kojima has teased the arrival of a new character for Death Stranding 2 through his latest post on X (formerly Twitter).
Kojima’s latest post includes a silhouette of the character with the words ‘Who Am I?’. Players might remember that Elle Fanning was teased similarly before the official announcement. Moreover, with Gamescom ONL taking place tomorrow, Kojima might provide players with an official reveal and other details about Death Stranding 2.
It is difficult to discern who the new character arriving for Death Stranding 2 is. However, players on Reddit have zeroed in on one actor. As per one of the recent posts on the r/DeathStranding subreddit, players believe that the teased character is none other than Japanese actor Kenjiro Tsuda.
Kenjiro Tsuda was involved in the previous Death Stranding game as the Japanese voice actor for Sam Bridges. The existing connection has led players to speculate that he may receive a character in the sequel. Tsuda is well-known for voicing popular anime characters such as Kento Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen, Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Overhaul in My Hero Academia and more. However, we will have to wait for an official announcement to know for sure.
