A new mech appears to be coming to Helldivers 2 thanks to a recent playtest leak.
In a post on Reddit, the EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit seems to be close to helping all Helldivers spread democracy across the planets. With a cooldown of 600 seconds, this mech can be used twice within a single mission and is a “pretty tanky mech with a dual autocannon”.
The leaker also adds that Bile Titans take a lot of hits to kill with the mech. As far as why, they have a theory.
“So, bile titan takes so many hit to kill probably because aside from main damage stat, there’s so called structure/armor damage which only 60 for the autocannon mech,” user Emptynesz said. “What i think is the “Structure/Armor damage” is basically how much damage you will do if armor not fully penetrate or you known as white reticle, but when armor fully penetrated it will do 300+60 damage.”
You can check out the gameplay of the new EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit below. One thing to note is that the gameplay is from a test of the mech, meaning that Arrowhead could still be making changes to how it works before it releases to everyone.
