Rockstar’s Teams Are Still Promoting GTA 6 2025 Release Window

It’s time for your regularly scheduled GTA 6 release date check-up.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to be released later this year, in the Fall. However, millions of fans worldwide expect the game to be delayed for whatever reason, with either Take-Two or Rockstar Games pushing back the release to finesse something or make further tweaks.

Recently, a slew of recruitment posts appeared on LinkedIn, with Rockstar’s representatives openly promoting the expected 2025 release window – so we can safely that for now, things are still on track.

Months Away

It feels strange to say that Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming out this year, but here we are. It has been a long time coming – the last new GTA game in the series was released in 2013, and fans have been coasting on that ever since. In 2023, Rockstar Games published the first trailer for GTA 6, promptly breaking viewership records on YouTube.

In a series of posts on LinkedIn, the talent acquisition specialists at Rockstar Games announced a few open roles in London, Leeds, Edinburgh, and Dundee. In the posts, there were references to 2025 shaping up to be the best year yet for the company, and each listing was accompanied by a banner that read ‘Coming 2025’:

GTA 5 set a precedent, being delayed by several months, but all indications suggest that, right now, GTA 6 is on track for a timely deliverly in 2025. Per my prediction, it’ll arrive in October 2025, keeping to the tradition that was established by almost every GTA game before GTA IV and GTA 5.
