On the official ESRB website, Coffee Stain North’s Goat Simulator 3 now has a new rating for the Nintendo Switch platform. As expected, it earned a T rating for crude humor, language, and violence.
The rating confirms recent rumors about a Nintendo Switch version. A listing on Amazon Japan surfaced online for the new Switch version not long ago, though the site promptly took that page down.
Before Amazon Japan removed the listing, fans noticed a potential release date of November 7, 2024. However, neither developer Coffee Stain North nor Nintendo have confirmed a concrete release date.
An official Nintendo Switch release date announcement should arrive fairly soon now that Goat Simulator 3 has an ESRB rating.
Most recently, Coffee Stain North released Goat Simulator 3 – Multiverse of Nonsense DLC for the base game on June 19, 2024. The DLC earned ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam. It added 8 new playable goats, a brand-new map, over 100 new gears, and more.
In April 2024, Embracer Group announced plans to split into three companies, one of which is Coffee Stain & Friends. That company will focus on a range of Premium and Free to Play PC, console, and mobile games.
Goat Simulator 3 first launched in 2022, and is available now on mobile, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
