The strategy genre is becoming more complex with each passing year. It wasn’t long ago that point-and-click was enough to macro your way through most matches, but shortcuts lead to greater fluidity and functionality these days. Using Keyboard Shortcuts to Succeed
During my playtime with Frostpunk 2, I didn’t use all of the keyboard shortcuts to make life easier, though I probably should have used more than I did. That said, I recommend you learn the various construction shortcuts, such as Frostbreaking and District, Building, and Hub Construction. Learning these four keys will help speed up construction and allow you to expand your settlement more efficiently.
But don’t knock the various overlays, either. Heat and Fuel, Materials, and Food prove exceptionally important to your colony’s survival, so learning the keyboard shortcuts for each will help you expand and acquire resources without constantly pausing the game.
